While I was making my birthday cake I noticed that the frosting recipe needed something.

The recipe is fine the way it is in that it makes a good buttery icing, that when refrigerated, will harden over and be a nice glaze.

If you want the recipe to be more of a frosting than an icing glaze do the following: 10oz Smart Balance Light- room temperature

10 cups Confectioner Sugar (Original Recipe is 7 cups) 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

2-4 tablespoons soy or coconut milk as needed

Directions: Place Smart Balance Light in a large bowl. Blend with mixer until creamed  and smooth. Slowly add in confectioner sugar 1 cup at a time until it is all mixed in well. Then add in soy milk or coconut milk 1 tablespoon at a time, blending to desired texture. (it will smooth it out) Then add in the vanilla extract. *Note: this frosting needs to be refrigerated at all times*
