I started meditating with guided imagery meditations (so I had something to listen to, to guide me at first). I chose a short meditation for a body scan or self-compassion. And I would set an alarm on my phone to go off as a calendar reminder. I wouldn’t dismiss the calendar reminder until I meditated. This way it would continue to show up on my phone as a push notification every time I turn it on.
