How do you cope with loneliness and the desire to be held when trying to fall asleep?

I don’t feel lonely or feel/want to be held when I sleep. If anything I need to be alone when I sleep because I get sleep paralysis and stuff.

But I think it could be helpful to hold something like a stuffed animal. They also have body pillows that could be helpful.
