3:00am is one of those “things” I think. It has many meanings to different people. But it is also a specific time of night when we are supposed to be sleeping. In traditions like Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, that specific time is when certain processes, natural detoxing, and the like, happen.
For me, if I am still up at 3:00am I find it alarming because I know 4:00am is creeping up on me and I HAVE to get to bed. Once I get closer to 4:00am, I start getting freaked out. I guess I feel like I have stayed up all night and ruined my chance for a great nights sleep. 2:30am-3:00am are my latest threshold because after 3:30am, I do start to get worried and freaked out.
